The Scottsboro varsity girls and varsity boys soccer teams completed a season sweep of matchups with the Stevenson soccer teams.
Scottsboro won the girls match Tuesday at Trammell Stadium 6-0 and the boys match 3-1 to claim the Jackson Cup matchups for this season.
North Jackson does not have a soccer program, but Stevenson Middle School was granted permission from the AHSAA to allow North Jackson students in grades 9-11 to play for the Stevenson program, which is playing junior high, junior varsity and varsity opponents this season.
In the girls matchup, Amelia Armour totaled three goals and two assists for Scottsboro (3-12) while Jenni Andres had two goals, Leti Tomas had a goal and an assist and goal keeper Breelynn Orgill had one save.
In the boys matchup, Marcos Francisco, Sawyer McWilliams and Josh Laney scored one goal each for Scottsboro (6-9-4) while Mateo Alvarez had one assist. Scottsboro goal keepers Patton Russell and Aidan Allred recorded three saves and two saves respectively.
