The Warriors dropped a hard-fought 19-9 decision to Chuckey Doak in a District 1-2A elimination game at West Greene.

After the Black Knights opened the game with four runs in the top of the first, HV answered in the home side as Drew Blevins hit a double to drive Lane Parker across the plate. Blevins scored when Grady GOulds hit a double to right field as HV trimmed the deficit to 4-2 after an inning of play.

The Warriors, however, kept battling.
