School records set for Henry County in state meet

The Henry County swim team competed in the TISCA (Tennessee Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association) state swim championships Feb. 9-10 in Nashville. From left are coach Brian Williams, Olivia Hart, Kyleigh Miller, Emma Dotson, Audrey Hill and Turner McSwain. The girls’ 200-yard free relay team of Hill, Miller, Dotson and Hart set a new school record. Individually, Hart set a new school record in the 50-yard free and McSwain set a new school record in the 100-yard breaststroke. The two-day meet had more than 100 schools, both public and private, from all across the state.
