ETSU Women's Tennis sees season come to a close against #21 Duke

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WCYB) — ETSU Women's Tennis team saw their season come to a close on Saturday after taking on #21 Duke in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Blue Devils started things off by capturing the doubles point before going three in a row to take the 4-0 team win.

Sofia Markova, Fernanda Carvajal, Jana Rovira, and Alessandra Caceres all took one set in their matches. Duke prevailed in the 3, 5, and 6 matchups to capture the win.

The Bucs end the season with a 17-8 overall record.
