It has been quite the year for ETSU men's golf - to say the least. From capturing its fourth consecutive SoCon championship crown, to maintaining a ranked spot throughout the entire campaign has made it a memorable experience.

And that's all without mentioning the dynamic trio at the top of their lineup that has produced match-in and match-out to get them to the No. 4 seed in the Chapel Hill Region of the NCAA Regionals coming up in mid-May.

Now, all that's left to do is continue to ride that momentum with the deep roster in place and ride out their quest towards the NCAA Championships.

"We've got a really competitive roster and also got a 1-2-3 punch in Mats (Ege), Algot (Kleen) and Matty (Dodd-Berry) that could play on any team in the country," said head coach Jake Amos. "I think our three guys have been carrying us and are playing well. I think that's probably our strength. How deep we are. If we get one of our four or five guys playing well, we could win it."

Not only are the Bucs well equipped on their lineup to create problems for any opponent, they have a tireless work ethic that has helped carry them to this point, as well. And it's something that got the Bucs through a small down period before getting hot at the end of the season.

"We had a little hiccup in the middle of our season, from February to March. We didn't play the best and I told my guys 'hey it's February, not April and May. April and May is when it matter,'" added Amos. "I think it was kind of a little kick start for us because we had such a great fall and maybe not the best offseason. But they worked so hard and they're playing great right now. This may be the hardest working group I've ever had.

The regional will be played May 13-15 at newly renovated Finley Golf Club. The top five teams of each regional and low individual from a non-advancing team will advance to the NCAA Championship - as the Bucs try to make their way through their fourth straight.
